Symptoms
A Microsoft Word publication shows one recipe per page even though the option is unchecked in the publication option.
Cause
Sometimes Microsoft Word ignores a directive from Living Cookbook during publishing.
Steps To Reproduce
- Run Living Cookbook 2024.
- Select a cookbook in the Navigator treeview (on the left).
- On the File menu, point to Publish and select Publication Options.
- Under "Publishing -> Cookbook", select Recipe.
- Under "Page breaks" (on the right), uncheck "Page break before each recipe".
- Click OK.
- On the File menu, point to Publish and select "Export Publication to Microsoft Word".
Workaround
- Open the exported document in Word 2024.
- On the Home ribbon, right-click on the "Cookbook Publication Recipe Title" style.
- On the popup menu, select Modify.
- Click the Format button and select Paragraph.
- Click the "Line and Page Breaks" tab.
- Uncheck the "Page break before" checkbox.
- Click OK to close the Paragraph window.
- Click OK to close the Modify Style window.

This issue was resolved in Living Cookbook 2024.
