Per-computer licenses

Living Cookbook licenses are per-computer. This means that a given license can only be registered on one computer at a time.

When you purchase a new computer you can move your Living Cookbook license, program and recipes to your new computer but you won't be able to continue using Living Cookbook on your old computer unless you have a license for each computer.

Changes in Living Cookbook 2015, 2013, 2011 and 2008

There are two important changes in the way that licensing works in Living Cookbook 2015, 2013, 2011 and 2008. The first change is the format of the license. In previous versions of Living Cookbook you needed a serial number and a license key in order to register your software. Living Cookbook 2015, 2013, 2011 and 2008 have a single product key.

The second change is the way that upgrade licenses work. In previous versions of Living Cookbook, in order to register an ugprade license you needed to enter your upgrade license and your product license (the license of the old version you were upgrading) every time you registered. In Living Cookbook 2015, 2013, 2011 and 2008 you still need to enter your upgrade license and product license, but only the first time you register. After that initial registration your upgrade license will be converted to a full Living Cookbook license and that one product key is all you will need from that point forward in order to register or re-register your software.
