How to determine if you are running the most current version of Living Cookbook 2011
The current version of Living Cookbook 2011 is 3.0.34. To determine which version you are running, try the following:
- Run Living Cookbook 2011.
- On the Help menu, click About.
- The version number will be displayed in the About window.
How to upgrade from a previous version of Living Cookbook 2011
- Run Living Cookbook 2011.
- Make a backup of your Living Cookbook 2011 data by selecting Backup from the File menu.
- Verify your backup file by selecting Verify Backup File from the File menu.
- Close Living Cookbook 2011.

Your data will be imported and upgraded automatically. If you installed Living Cookbook 2011 on a different computer or if Living Cookbook 2011 is not able to locate your Living Cookbook 2005 data, select Restore from the File menu and then select the backup file you created in step 3 above.

Yes. Living Cookbook 2011 will import and upgrade data from any previous version of Living Cookbook.
Will I still be able to share data with Living Cookbook 2008 and Living Cookbook 2005 users after I upgrade?
Yes. You will be able to share data with users of all Living Cookbook versions that support the FDX file format (2011, 2008, 2005 and 2003).
If I have a problem installing Living Cookbook 2011 or upgrading my data will my Living Cookbook 2008 or Living Cookbook 2005 data be affected?
No. By default Living Cookbook 2011 installs in a different folder and will not make any changes to your old Living Cookbook program files or data.
