KB005 - Living Cookbook 2024 help file doesn't open
elpt
Symptoms
When you try to open the Living Cookbook 2024 help file for the first time an "address is not valid" or "web page cannot be found" error message is displayed.
Cause
Even though Microsoft developed the CHM file format, security problems associated with files of this type have forced them to make changes to Windows that reduces the degree to which the operating system trusts files of this type. When a CHM file is downloaded to a computer instead of installed as part of a program's installation process, Windows sometimes prevents the CHM file from opening properly.
