How do I move Living Cookbook 2024 to a new computer?

The easiest way to move your Living Cookbook data to a new computer is to create a backup file on the old computer and then restore that backup file on your new computer. Please try the following:

1. Run Living Cookbook 2024 on your old computer. 
2. Create a backup file with all of your data by selecting Backup from the File menu.
3. Verify the backup file by selecting Verify Backup File from the File menu. If Living Cookbook thinks the backup is OK, proceed to step 4, otherwise try creating a new backup file. If the new backup file still doesn't verify properly, create a support ticket and we will help you resolve the problem.
4. On the Help menu, select Unregister to unregister your license from your old computer.
5. Close Living Cookbook.
6. Copy the backup file onto your new computer.
7. Click here to download the latest version of Living Cookbook 2024.
8. On your new computer, double-click on the downloaded file (LCSetep20.exe) to install Living Cookbook 2024.
9. Run and register Living Cookbook 2024.
10. Restore the backup file you created in step 2 by selecting Restore from the File menu.

Please note that Living Cookbook licenses are per-computer. In other words your license can only be registered on one computer at a time.
