Link a recipe ingredient to the ingredient database

  1. Select the Recipe Navigator tab.

  2. Select the recipe with the ingredients you want to link.
  3. On the Action menu, click Edit Recipe.

    Right-click on the navigator treeview and then, on the popup menu, click Edit Recipe.

    - or -

    Click Edit on the task toolbar.

  4. Click the Ingredients tab.

  5. Select the ingredient you want to link.
  6. Click Link.

    7. Tip  You can click LInk All to attempt to link all of the ingredients at once.

  7. In the Search Pane select the ingredient that matches your recipe ingredient.

    8. Tip  If a matching ingredient does not appear in the search pane, try reducing the number of words in the Search for box, or try an alternative spelling of the ingredient.

  8. Below Match the quantity and unit, type the Quantity and select the Measure of the matching ingredient.

    9. Note  The quantity and measure of the matching unit are required to calculate recipe nutrition.

    Tip  Click Add Measure to add a new measure to the selected ingredient.

  9. Click OK.
